dataZen Engineering, founded in 2004, develops the software, integration, and content management systems needed by its clients in the 21st century. With primary focus on the machine tool industry and the electrical industry, our diverse experience allows us to adapt to the needs of our clients.
Our main offices are located in Morrisville, NC; the heart of the Research Triangle. dataZen also maintains offices in Charlotte, NC, as well as development and sales offices in Pune, India and Guwahati, India. We currently serve clients all over the continental United States.
Machine Tool Industry
Our primary product within the machine tool industry is MacMan-Net 2010. This machine monitoring and reporting system collects status, operating, and historical information from Okuma CNC controls. All of the data collected can then be viewed through the MacMan-Net web application, organized into convenient and highly-configurable reports.As a Partner in THINC, dataZen develops and provides custom and commercial software for the THINC control, a revolutionary CNC concept founded on a principle of openness and extensibility. The THINC platform provides an unprecedented level of flexibility for software development solutions.
However, dataZen does not work exclusively with THINC controls. Our staff has experience working with a wide range of Okuma legacy controls, such as the E100, U100, and 7000-series. We are also expanding our work with the popular Fanuc CNC lines.
Our machine tool solutions are based on getting the data where it needs to go, no matter the source or destination. Whether this requires integration with existing systems, or developing a solution from scratch, dataZen provides the software tools needed for machine shops to function more efficiently.
Software Development
First and foremost, dataZen is a software development house. Our development team has years of experience with web, desktop, and server development. From .NET to Java, MySQL to SQL Server to OracleDB, and PHP to ASP.NET, we have the skills and knowledge to create custom software solutions for today's business needs.Our methodology is a union of Agile development and Rational Unified Process (RUP), providing an iterative process to develop software quickly while adapting to customer needs.
Our solutions go beyond software. dataZen provides technical services for installation, integration, customization, and training. When necessary, we also develop the hardware appliances needed to support our existing software applications and solutions.
Product Photography
Our photographic studio and product photography service is geared towards producing high-quality, high-resolution photographs of hardware products suitable for use in printed or online product catalogs. We photograph parts ranging in size from a few ounces to hundreds of pounds, in accordance with industry standards for catalog photographs.The dataZen workflow allows us to photograph all parts with a quick turnaround, producing high-resolution images with clipping paths, and delivering the catalog-quality photographs to your business in a short time. We deliver in a variety of image formats to suit your needs.
