Thanks for joining us at imX!

imX boothOn September 12th-14th, dataZen Engineering attended this year's Interactive Manufacturing Experience in Las Vegas! This event was unlike any trade show, delivering education and interaction about the newest and most exciting news in the manufacturing industry. Thank you to all of those who engaged in solution driven and knowledge enriching conversations with us.
Our President, Pulakesh Barua, spoke at the Knowledge Bar Series while attending imX. The Knowledge Bar Series consists of intimate sessions designed for the meaningful exchange of information between buyers and sellers. He spoke about The key to return on investment (ROI).  He explained how the key is integrating equipment to an overall business process. It is the business process engineering that should drive the technology and not vice versa. It is the “How” factor that warrants an integration between equipment that drives up the ROI.
We hope each of our eXecutive guests left the event with implementable solutions.  Please contact us to continue our discussion and discover how we can serve you!

MacMan-Net 2010

macman

MacMan-Net 2010 is a machine monitoring solution originally developed for machines with Okuma CNCs.

The MacMan-Net 2010 service collects machine data, storing it on a central server.

From there, the MacMan-Net web interface provdes easy access to NC status, alarm history, and other historical data over the web. Access from your desktop machine, or from your iPad, tablet PC, iPhone, or smartphone when on the go.

A configurable email alerts feature allows you to be notified when alarms occur, based on alarm number and machine.

MacMan-Net 2010 supports certain Okuma legacy controls through the DNC-T3 option, or P200 controls leveraging the THINC API. Support for Fanuc 18i controls is underway.

Onscreen Keyboard for THINC

qwertyRepeatedly moving from the THINC control's touchscreen to the hardware keyboard can be a hassle. Additionally, there are times when the hardware keyboard is inaccessible.

DataZen has developed an onscreen keyboard suited to the needs of THINC machine operators. Many software keyboards are not suited for touchscreens, or for the needs of THINC controls. Unlike other software keyboards, DataZen provides a full QWERTY keyboard, a numeric keypad for machine operators, and a panel mode selector toolbar for switching between screens on the THINC control.
