Schneider Electric is an European multinational company providing energy and automation digital solutions for efficiency and sustainability with a global presence in over 100 countries, Schneider is a leader in Power Management – Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and Secure Power, and in Automation Systems. They provide integrated efficiency solutions, combining energy, automation, and software. It addresses homes, buildings, data centers, infrastructure, and industries, by combining energy technologies, real-time automation, software, and services.

What we did together?

As part of US Schneider Electric’s initiative to address Supply Chain related Data quality and Governance, a transactional, yet with data warehousing concepts included, system was needed. Therefore, the Customer Product Data (CPD) system was funded as a Product Information and Channel Marketing initiative under an approved BCFE and installed in 2004.  CPD is a centralized “electronic library” of technical, commercial and logistic product data at the part number level along with more than a million technical attributes and values originally extracted from the global legacy systems, refined and worked on initially to create enriched data, especially long descriptions based on certain criteria. These attributes and values were also leveraged to develop merchandized product selector applications for the US internet (full site and mobile site) called “i-Selector”.

1) CPD
Today, CPD is used today for price increases, product selectors, competitive cross reference, e-catalogs, in-store signage and the global data synchronization network (GDSN). It is also the Proxy for Square D brand data in global digital systems.

2) Business Value for Change
Where practical, redundant silo processes and inefficiencies were identified and consolidated, resulting in base cost avoidance moving forward. Increased accountability and traceability for this intellectual property of Schneider Electric were also be achieved.

3) dataZen BSL™
It is a SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) web application which helps e-commerce companies to get updated product data of the products which are being sold in the e-commerce market place through wholesale distribution network primarily focused on the supply chain. dataZen BSL™ web application allows users to visualize the products, Search (Single and Multiple) parts with advanced functions, Order the product details, and Schedule the order, View 360 Images or other rich content and Analytics.

4) Documentum
We have delivered many Documentum Enterprise Content Management Solutions which provided content and meta-data management capabilities for all types of content. Documentum provides services such as document management, search, content classification, customer communication management, and Web content management.


This is an add on and customized Documentum application which runs on a daily basis which saves invoice data and files in Documentum.


This is an add on and customized Documentum application for Human Resources Organization specifically when a new Employee is hired or managed.

c) OnBase
This is an add on and customized Documentum application to import legacy financial data in Documentum with 2M invoice images and meta-data. 

d) Basware
This is an add on and customized Documentum application to import financial data from Basware SaaS (Software-as-a-Service) system into Documentum with over 3M complex invoice images and meta-data. Then export country specific invoices to a GDPR compliant platform.

e) OmniDocs
This is an add on and customized Documentum application to import financial data from OmniDocs system into Documentum with over 10M complex invoice images and meta-data.
