About G.L. Huyett
G.L. Huyett is a manufacturer and master distributor of non-threaded fasteners such as pins, keystock, grease fittings, snap rings, and more. It is founded in Minneapolis, Kansas in 1899 by Guy L. Huyett. It is now one of the oldest continuously operating businesses in Kansas. In recent years, they have made substantial investments in facilities, people, and technology that have led to increased expansion and record sales. They are a highly entrepreneurial enterprise and team-oriented group of employees committed to simplifying the lives of their customers by providing quality parts and service on time at a fair price.
What we did together?
We monitored their manufacturing data on a private cloud server from their CNC equipment on the shop floor that are connected and monitored using dataZen Engineering Technology. We made it easy for them to get an aggregated view for utilization and operational efficiency. There are a lot of Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) technologies at play leveraging Oracle, MySQL, SQL Servers in tandem along with web services and business intelligence reporting to provide world class operational efficiency for them year after year.
